Dear Sam-
This is my first blog post especially for you. I'll try to keep up with it as you get older so we have some memories to laugh about later...I promise I won't show any of your boyfriends (yikes, a subject I never want to talk about...well at least until you are 30).
Anyhoo, I thought we should start out with how your dad and I met. We were both working in Baltimore on a movie called Ladder 49. We met at the copy machine and I think we both decided on each other in about 10 minutes. Despite the fact that your Dad said idiot things like "You know, I used to date models" I couldn't help but love the fact that he made me laugh and he was definitely a man on a mission. As he was leaving a party that our friend Abby and I were throwing he said, "I want to take you out tomorrow, and if things go well the next day too." I sure hope you get his sense of purpose without the idiot part.
